Thinning Hair With Combination Therapy for Hepatitis C

Thinning hair is common during
 hepatitis C treatment with peginterferon. However, after the combination therapy is over, the hair loss stops; in most people the hair starts growing back to its normal thickness. In the meantime, using baby shampoo may help ease some of the hair loss problem. You can also talk to your healthcare provider for other ideas.
