Many people have hepatitis C and never have any symptoms even after many years. You can feel and look perfectly healthy, yet still be infected with the disease and infect others.
Most patients don't have symptoms of hepatitis C until there's already cirrhosis or even liver failure. If a person with hepatitis C does have symptoms, they may feel tired, sick to their stomach, not feel like eating, have a fever, have stomach pain, or a dull pain or feeling of heaviness on the right side.
