VICTRELIS Drug Information

VICTRELISTM (boceprevir) is taken three times daily as a treatment for chronic hepatitis C infections. This drug is not appropriate for everyone; your healthcare provider needs complete information on your medical history and what medications you are taking before prescribing VICTRELIS. Although generally well tolerated, common side effects may include fatigue and nausea. If negative reactions do occur, they tend to be mild and easily treated.

It's important to note that this protease inhibitor is not intended for use by itself. VICTRELIS is always prescribed with two other medications (ribavirin and peginterferon alfa) as part of combination therapy for hepatitis C. VICTRELIS is approved for use in adults only, and is currently not available in generic form.
