Combination therapy to treat hepatitis C uses two drugs together.
One drug is called alpha-Interferon, and the other drug is called Ribavirin. Interferon is sold under the name "Intron A or Peg-IntronTM," and Ribavirin is sold under the name "Rebetol." Interferon can work by itself to treat Hepatitis C, but Ribavirin cannot. Using the two drugs together is called "Combination Therapy."
