What If I Miss a Dose?

If you miss a dose of Pegasys, call your healthcare provider for further instructions.
 

How Should This Medicine Be Stored?

Store Pegasys under refrigeration, but be careful not to let it freeze. Make sure to let the medication come to room temperature for 20 minutes before injecting to help minimize pain. If the medication has been out of the refrigerator for more than 24 hours, it should be discarded.
 

Available Strengths

Pegasys comes in the following strengths and forms:
 
  • Pegasys 180 mg per mL vials
  • Pegasys 180 mg per 0.5 mL prefilled syringes
  • Pegasys 135 mg per 0.5 mL autoinjectors
  • Pegasys 180 mg per 0.5 mL autoinjectors.
 
The prefilled syringes and the autoinjectors come with needles. The vials do not come with needles or syringes; they must be purchased separately.
 

Can I Buy Generic Pegasys?
